Job summary Are you an experienced band 5 or an existing Band 6 RMN with a passion for promoting recovery? The Specialist Treatment and Recovery Service (STaRS) are looking to recruit a Band 6 Specialist Nurse to join an established Multi-Disciplinary Team. STaRS is an exciting hybrid rehabilitation service, offering service-users intensive, high quality, person-centred interventions provided in both an inpatient and community setting. The service is based in Hull and serves the whole of Hull and East Yorkshire. The successful candidate will work alongside the STaRS Multi-Disciplinary Team, Community STARS team and work alongside the STaRS Ward service or relevant community team in supporting the implementation of the discharge pathway. The successful applicant would benefit from having inpatient experience to support the day to day operational and managerial requirements, as well as exceptional engagement skills and will be proactive in working with people in recovery who may have complex needs. This is a secondment opportunity post for 12 months. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will support STaRS values identified below: Open Trustworthy Honest Empathic Respectful The candidate will be expected to provide senior leadership and supervision to junior staff and would therefore benefit from having a high level of clinical knowledge and experience of offering evidence-based, value recovery-focussed interventions that facilitate recovery. There will be a requirement to work flexibly across the service, with some weekend and out of hours working and have the ability to commute within the Trusts geographical areas and have access to the appropriate means of transport. It is expected that the successful applicant will have previous experience and training for this post or be willing to work towards obtaining further qualification/experience. The successful candidate will be put on the appropriate salary pay point based on their previous experience in the role or similar role.
