Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust
We are committed to providing high quality care for the people of Bradford, Airedale and Craven. Are You?
As a provider of care for people of all ages who have mental and/or community health needs, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality service, close to where people live and as much as possible tailored to an individual's needs.
Are you passionate about working with people and looking for a new and exciting challenge to develop your skills within an inpatient mental health care setting? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at the Step Forward Centre, a rehab ward for adults aged 18+ who require some additional support to build important life skills and a level of independence as part of their recovery journey.
As an occupational therapy assistant, you will assist in the assessments of functional ability, deliver individualised treatment plans and support recovery and transition from hospital to home. You will work collaboratively with the wider MDT both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be involved in the service development at the unit.
We are seeking an innovative individual, able to work collaboratively with service users and staff, and integrate well into the multidisciplinary team on the ward.
