JDI Legal are currently working with a multi branched firm of solicitors who operate across multiple branch offices across the region to recruit an experienced conveyancing assistant / support person to work from their offices in Sunderland. A full time role working 9-5pm from centrally located offices on Wearside, the role will involve providing support to a busy and thriving residential conveyancing department involving opening files, giving quotations, using HM Land Registry software to request searches, progressing the file via case management system, post completion, paying disbursements, client liaison and speaking with other solicitors to keep each other updated on the process of the transaction. The successful candidate MUST have a conveyancing background and be familiar with the conveyancing process, be organised, have good keyboard skills and IT literate and a reliable member of a team.
