Our client is a joinery company specialising in high-quality, bespoke woodwork, Who pride themselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and finishing.
They are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join their team.
Job Description:
As a Paint Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring joinery products are finished to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a variety of woodwork, including doors, windows, cabinets, and other bespoke joinery items.
Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will help maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Surface Preparation: Sanding, priming, and preparing wood surfaces for painting or staining.
* Spraying: Applying paint, stains, lacquers, and other finishes using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and a flawless finish.
* Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet the required standards of quality and finish.
* Maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of spray equipment and the work area.
* Health & Safety: Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
Requirements:
* Experience: Previous experience a Paint Sprayer in a joinery or similar environment.
* Skills: Proficiency in using various spraying equipment and techniques. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
* Knowledge: Understanding of different types of paint, stains, and finishes, and how they interact with various wood types.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
* Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
