About the Role
Our Surface Access team is responsible for providing our passengers with a smooth journey to and from our airport. They take care of the car parks and the rail station and support our passengers with any queries, ensuring that they receive the seamless, quick, and friendly experience they expect here at London Southend Airport. Here’s what you will be doing day to day:
* Assisting customers face to face, over the phone, via email, and over the intercom.
* Updating all notice boards with current information.
* Operating the ticket gates at the train station and the car park barriers.
* Emptying and loading the pay machines.
* Monitoring the CCTV and conducting patrols of the surface access areas.
* Embodying the Airport's ‘One Team' culture and being flexible to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
* Being available for shifts during operating hours, which may include early mornings, late nights, overnight, weekends, and bank holidays.
