Job Title: Deputy Home Manager
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure that the clinical care we provide exceeds professional standards, statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. Your responsibilities include providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking charge of resident care in the absence of the Home Manager, and supervising and coaching colleagues to deliver an empathetic, high-quality service.
About You
HC-One seeks a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and familiarity with the NMC code of practice. Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home is essential. You should have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and be capable of mentoring, managing time effectively, and maintaining meaningful records. Compassion and kindness are fundamental to your approach when communicating with residents and colleagues.
You should value kindness as it underpins all aspects of our care homes, including Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist services. Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice and escalate concerns as necessary.
