Head of Care Location: Old Station house, Abingdon, Oxfordshire Salary: £31,569 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Shift times: 8.30am - 4.30pm ABOUT THE ROLE Are you an experienced Head of Care, with the passion to make a difference? Can you lead a team of people to deliver outstanding care to our residents, whilst encouraging them to always do their best? As Head of Care, you’ll support the Home Manager with the management of the Home to ensure that the highest standards of care are delivered and maintained at all times. You’ll carry out initial assessments of potential residents, produce individual care plans and support both residents and their families through the process. Leading a team of carers, you’ll be responsible for rota planning, employee recruitment and both induction and mandatory training, ensuring that the needs of our residents are recognised, assessed and
met where possible. You’ll also monitor and manage individual employee performance to ensure standards are upheld, addressing any issues as they arise through the appropriate channels.
