This role will help us to do this by playing a pivotal role in managing a team of building surveyors and delivery of works. You will act as a key liaison between the building surveyor team and senior management, providing technical expertise in relation to building defects and complex issues and determining appropriate remedial action as a long-term resolution. In this role, you will be responsible for · Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to the building surveyors, fostering their professional growth and development · Ensuring the quality and consistency of services delivered by the team and contractors, reviewing quality of work, reports, assessments and recommendations to uphold high standards · Manage all aspects building contracts, from initial procurement to final completion · Build and manage productive and positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and consultants We need people who are · Experienced in the management of complex repairs, disrepair and Damp & Mould compliance · Experienced in complex property repairs management, including knowledge of associated legal and regulatory requirements. · Knowledgeable of disrepair and damp and mould management within the housing sector or similar environment. Experience of H&S and legislative and regulatory requirements for a construction related function · Construction related qualification e.g. HNC or equivalent demonstrable experience · CIH Level 4 in housing or equivalent or commitment to work towards · Full valid driving license and access to own vehicle Everyone’s welcome here.
