We are looking for an Early Help Worker to work as part of an integrated team supporting the effective co-ordination and delivery of our joint front door arrangements for the Family Help and Assessment Teams to screen contacts, respond to requests for support immediately and ensure cases are on the most appropriate pathway to services.
About you…
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work quickly and accurately
• Extensive experience of supporting schools with External TAF
• Experience and track record of delivering training and presentations to external partners and other professionals
• Good IT skills
About the role…
To ensure Rutland County Council fulfils its statutory responsibilities to support children and young people in need and who may be at risk of harm and to contribute to the strategic objectives within Rutland’s Children and Young People Plan.
As an Early Help Worker your duties will include, assisting with, co-ordinating and advising external partners in the delivery of external Team Around the Family support.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
Please be advised the postholder will need a driving licence to travel around the county.
The Early Help Worker interviews will be held face to face on 28 April 2025.
