Key Duties:
1. Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant, and services as requested.
2. Carry out TPMs and ensure documentation is completed.
3. Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.
4. Monitor stores stock and usage.
5. Always apply best practice operation maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
6. Progress and complete project work on site.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
1. Have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
2. Proven mechanical skills with knowledge in the plastics/injection molding industry preferable.
3. H&S accreditation would be advantageous.
4. Hold a 18th Edition Certificate, but again not essential.
5. Understand and be able to read mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
6. Be experienced in the use of PPM systems.
7. Work on their own initiative.
8. Work towards improved efficiency in the maintenance department.
9. Be an effective team player and possess excellent communication skills.
10. Must be willing to be flexible for the company and work occasional overtime shifts.
