Senior or Principal EICA Engineer role:
• You will report to the EICA Integration Lead and be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering design services to minimise risks and maximise profits on turnkey and engineering contracts.
• Your role will involve coordinating designs, producing documents and drawings, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, specifications, and contract standards.
Senior or Principal EICA Engineer responsibilities:
• Produce cost-effective design layouts that meet specification requirements and can be efficiently constructed and commissioned, considering all associated costs, including design, materials, erection, and any impacts on other disciplines.
• Ensure standard practices are applied wherever possible to maintain competitiveness and provide estimates and feedback to the Proposals department.
• Adhere to procedures and processes to support the department's development and assist in their creation, monitoring, and review.
• Coordinate designs with all internal and external disciplines to align processes and optimize the overall success of the contract.
• Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
• Maintain a personal development plan and assist in supervising and developing staff.
• Ensure designs consider environmental factors and fully adhere to all health and safety requirements.
Senior or Principal EICA Engineer requirements:
• Have experience in managing and mentoring staff in designing key aspects of water and sewage treatment plants.
• Membership in a professional institution, either chartered or nearing chartership.
• Relevant engineering degree in the discipline.
• Relevant engineering HND in the discipline.
• Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts.
• Ability to present technical proposals clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
• Driving license.
Desirable:
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Relevant Engineering Master’s Degree
