Job summary Financial Services Assistant Band 3 The Financial Services Department are looking for an enthusiastic, organised individual to join the team. You will work as part of a cohesive team who are responsible for processing invoices for payment, resolving queries with suppliers and customers, keeping the supplier and customer master files up to date and many other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Department. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team, have good IT skills, and preferably have knowledge of a computerised financial ledger. The team is very efficient and effective so a successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, work well under pressure, and be prepared to share workloads to ensure the delivery of deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy. Full time 37.5 per week over Monday - Friday Main duties of the job The Accounts Payable Assistant's main duties will be to assist and actively support the Accounts Payable Manager and Accounts Payable Officer in providing a reliable, accurate and efficient service with regard to the payment of supplier invoices for goods and services received.
