About The Role Dedicated to working on BrewDog’s Bioenergy facility, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of bothplanned and reactive maintenance in accordance with campus rules, proceduresand processes. However, you shall also support the Operations team bylearning how to operate a variety of processes and systems associated witheffluent treatment and biogas production. Some days you will be more focused on maintenance activities, some days you'll be hands-on operationally. The principal duties and responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to: Being proactive to ensure legislation and company health, safety and environmental standards are met at all times. Develop and implement a PPM schedule the site. Manage any spares and consumables held on site and order replacements as required. Complete planned and reactive maintenance on all production equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring all findings and root causes are identified and recorded. Safely and compliantly apply electrical and mechanical isolations where necessary. Analyse equipment condition and efficiency identifying any issues, rectification work and improvement. Learn how to operate production systems as required to provide operational support & cover – this will include full shifts in an operational capacity. About You Applicants should be able to demonstrate: Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline. Significant experience in maintaining pumps, valves, motors and associated mechanical / electrical systems in a production setting A detailed understanding of best-practise safety procedures for planning and undertaking maintenance tasks. An understanding of anaerobic digestion and / or effluent treatment systems with a desire to learn how to operate them. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of CMMS systems. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Planning and organisational skills. Applicants must also be willing to work 12 hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off basis with occasional requirement for on-call responsibilities.
