Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cross Section Radiographer to join our Imaging team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary in the range of £37,000.00 - £44,500.00 pa DoE plus benefits. Main duties of the job Your responsibilities will include: Undertaking all clinical work in the Imaging Department with the ability to demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise and support the Imaging Lead. To deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service. To participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols. Producing high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care. Training and supervision of junior staff and assistant staff in both the delivery of the service and their individual development needs in a motivational manner. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.
