About the Role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be a vital link between the heart of the SMR operation and Finance, supporting all aspects of financial management. From budgeting, financial analysis, and commercial pricing to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, you will provide valuable insights that drive performance and efficiency across the division. Key Responsibilities: Financial Performance & Reporting: including but not limited to Support daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and key financial analysis Contribute to month-end reporting, including balance sheet and CAPEX reviews Ensure the provision of full and accurate financial information across the SMR division Business Insights & Decision Support: Provide financial insight and analysis to senior leaders Identify cost optimisation and savings initiatives Analyse revenue drivers and support commercial pricing decisions Reporting & Process Improvement: Enhance financial reporting and analytics to improve efficiency and reliability Implement improvements to existing reporting models Develop and maintain KPIs to track business performance What Were Looking For: Strong financial control skills with a keen eye for detail Analytical mindset with excellent financial modelling skills Ability to challenge constructively and provide actionable insight Effective communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders Highly organised, hands-on, and able to meet tight deadlines Commercial understanding of costs, revenue, and performance drivers Qualifications & Experience: Experience in fast-paced and complex environments Good understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial reporting tools ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification (or currently studying towards one) desirable but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving team and contribute to the success of the SMR division.
