Director of Talent - Waterloo Corporate Office As part of our international hospitality real estate company, PPHE Hotel Group, we now have an opportunity for you to step into our brand-new Director of Talent role where you will create and manage impactful solutions to build organisational capabilities which ensure L&D, GMs, HR, and Talent Acquisition professionals are empowered to meet the organisation's talent needs. Your responsibilities as our Director of Talent: Leading Talent Development Partnering with Regional HR Directors on Learning & Development strategy and developing an organisational learning culture Managing high profile L&D interventions / programmes / initiatives Developing standards for learning technologies usage, adoption and promotion Coordinating group projects and specialisms led by local L&D professionals Managing supplier and partner relationships and budgets Aligning and supporting Talent Attraction and Talent Acquisition activities Supporting Employer Branding & Talent Attraction Manager with Employee Value Proposition creation and development Creating appropriate selection tools and processes for Talent Acquisition teams, HR and hiring managers which identify desired talent Coordinating Regional activities in support of corporate programmes (University careers fairs, Hotel Schools, etc) Defining and coordinating Talent Evaluation processes & providing analysis Coordinating biannual talent review process, ensuring meaningful reporting is available to business leaders With Regional HR Directors: associated risk reporting, analysing talent review findings, succession planning and mapping, PDP creation, and identifying key initiatives and projects to address identified needs Organisational learning needs analysis and reporting Developing connections between organisational talents needs and strategic reward decisions with Director of Pay & Reward Organisational blueprints & brand guidelines delivery Supporting company / brand blueprint(s) creation and development, implementations and supporting 'keeping it going' initiatives across the business Aligning all solutions to the company blueprint models to ensure the outcomes meet the intended leadership, employee behaviour and intended guest experience descriptors Ensuring competency frameworks, supporting processes and supporting toolkits are fit-for-purpose About you: Experienced senior L&D practitioner or HR Generalist Exceptional stakeholder management skills up to C-suite Experience in service sector, fast-paced, commercial organisations Experience developing Employer Value Propositions will be beneficial Your benefits as our Director of Talent: Discounted PPHE hotel rates (extends to the Radisson Hotel Group and family & friends) F&B discounts at our restaurants and bars (for your whole party) Two wellness days per year, meaning all team members start with 30 days of holiday per year - including bank holidays, increasing with years of service BUPA Healthcare Two free meals per day Access to 40% of your pay before payday through Wagestream Vitality at work scheme with great gym discounts & more Ride to Work scheme & free cycling lessons 24/7 employee assistance programme Departmental productivity & service incentive scheme Benefit Hub - Discounted prices at hundreds of stores, supermarkets, major retailers, attractions, restaurants, and cinemas.
