As Production Scheduler within Building Construction Products (BCP) you will own, develop and manage a production scheduling process that is innovative and promotes maximization of efficiency and optimization of resources/assets internally while retaining enough flexibility to ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner. You are responsible for key supply chain performance indicators across velocity and order-to-delivery.
What you will do:
As a Production Scheduler, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
* Develops a production plan for critical review for Product Managers, Materials, Factory Managers and Marketing subsidiaries, to accommodate customer demand, practical production capabilities and business objectives.
* Captures and analyses data from numerous sources (e.g. Monthly Business Reviews, Demand reviews, production capacity) defining and presenting scenarios for discussion as part of the S&OP Cycle.
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product-related issues and incorporate customer and business requirements.
* Owns and drives production schedules, understands workflow of production workers, the impact of inventory levels, capacity constraints, machine breakdowns, product quality, etc. to ensure operational excellence.
* Responsible for managing the order board status and provide leadership, training and coaching to the Demand and Order Analyst.
* Leads and provides subject matter expertise to support project teams working with Supply Chain Performance and Planning groups at facilities.

* Data driven, able to analyse processes and policies whilst identifying problems and reporting solutions accordingly.
* Able to maintain strong internal network that promotes informal collaboration.
* Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
* Understanding of market economic conditions and their impact on the wider business.
* Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
What You May Have:
* College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is highly desirable.
* CIPS, APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification.

Salary: £38,500-£45,000 depending on experience
Benefits: 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays - opportunity to buy and sell, up to 10% Bonus, Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%, Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution, optional flexible benefits including access to private health and dental care plans.
