Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with autism and learning disabilities who requires 2:1 support 24 hours a day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality support to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
* Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
* Support the individual in accessing community resources and engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental health.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a person-centred support plan.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving license.
* Experience in social care, preferably in mental health and with supporting individuals with complex needs.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
