The Role We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s commercial team on a permanent basis. This role is critical in managing project costs, ensuring financial control, and supporting successful project delivery. Based in West London, you will work closely with project and commercial teams to optimise efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities Cost control & budgeting – Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and provide financial analysis. BOQ & cost planning – Prepare Bills of Quantities and deliver accurate cost forecasts. Financial reporting – Maintain up-to-date cost records and produce financial reports. Contract management – Oversee subcontractor agreements, ensure compliance, and support procurement processes. Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. What We’re Looking For A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Proven experience in cost control, reporting, and BOQ preparation within the construction industry. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proactive mindset. Knowledge of industry contracts and construction regulations.
