Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop policy and research work related to decarbonisation and emerging transport technologies
Deliver a range of research projects, data tools, and partner support concerning decarbonisation and climate adaptation
Ensure awareness of opportunities and challenges posed by new technologies in transport
Maintain and build networks and relationships both internally and externally
Work closely with partner authorities and transport teams to support strategic ambitions
Provide informed advice, develop policies, and manage research projects tracking new technologies
Represent the organisation in public and professional forums
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in transport decarbonisation and sustainability
Ability to apply experience in complex strategy and policy situations
Experience in tracking and analysing new transport-related technologies
Confidence in navigating trade-offs in decarbonisation and transport infrastructure development
Proficiency in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
Master's degree or equivalent experience in environmental, sustainability, or transport-related subjects
Passion for achieving a fair and prosperous decarbonisation transition
