Job Description Installation & Surveyor Manager Location: Shoreham-by-Sea About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Glazing Installer & Surveyor Manager to lead our team of skilled installers and ensure the highest standards are met across all projects. This role is crucial in overseeing the entire installation process, from the initial survey through to project completion, ensuring accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of installation, coordinating trades and ensuring timely project completion with impeccable quality. Team Leadership: Manage 7 teams of installers, 1 surveyor, 1 service engineer, and 2 admin staff. Conduct daily reviews and random site inspections to ensure smooth operations. Surveying and Planning: Accurately measure windows, doors, conservatories, and roofs, ensuring compliance with building and planning regulations. Produce and manage paperwork such as base plans, risk assessments, and scaffolding requirements. Client & Supplier Liaison: Maintain clear communication with clients and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered to specification. Resolve any issues that may arise during installations. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure health and safety practices are up to date, organizing annual training and reviews. Sales Support: Use technical expertise to support sales, reviewing contracts for accuracy in pricing, timelines, and arranging surveys. Quality Assurance: Perform daily site visits to monitor quality and address concerns. Ensure all installations meet customer satisfaction and company standards. Qualifications and Skills: - Proven experience in the glazing industry, with expertise in both installation and management. - Strong knowledge of building and planning regulations, particularly related to windows, doors, and conservatories. - Leadership experience, managing multiple teams to deliver high-quality results. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams effectively. - Technical expertise, including producing risk assessments and planning paperwork. - Commitment to health and safety, with experience in conducting annual reviews. - Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
