Ashby House is a Nurse led health-based respite unit for adults with a learning disability and a complex health need and/or complex behaviours. We operate on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis.
We are a 7 bed unit which is purpose built to accommodate the needs of the individuals that attend the service, based in the Nuneaton countryside.
We also provide a health based day service, The Lodge, which is situated on the same site.
The individuals that attend both services present with a wide range of cognitive and physical disabilities and require support with aspects of daily living- including social activities and managing health conditions. We strive as a service to promote independence and the rights of individuals and ensure that meeting an individualâs needs is our main priority.
The successful applicant must be a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual, who is passionate about person centred and holistic care and contributing towards improved health outcomes for adults with a learning disability.
