Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical support and customer service, with the ability to analyse and resolve issues related to computer hardware, operating systems, and network connectivity. This role is essential in ensuring that our IT systems function smoothly and efficiently, providing support to users and maintaining high levels of service.
Duties
* Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
* Assist users with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows operating systems and other applications.
* Manage incidents through our ticketing systems, ensuring accurate documentation of all interactions.
* Analyse network connectivity issues, including LAN configurations and TCP/IP settings.
* Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
* Collaborate with other IT team members to implement improvements in processes and technologies.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with operating systems, particularly Windows, as well as various software applications.
* Experience with ticketing systems is highly desirable.
* Understanding of networking concepts, including LAN setups and TCP/IP protocols.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and effectively.
* Strong customer service skills, demonstrating patience and professionalism when assisting users.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £25,602.00-£27,008.00 per year
