An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer either of an electrical, mechanical, or plumbing background, to be based in a commercial building in the City of London. He or she or they will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. This person will be working closely with a senior member of the team and the team on-site to gain experience and training of building services.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for an Electrical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company are offering a salary of £35,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work: Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
2. Emergency lighting tests
3. Control Panels
4. Changing Ballast
5. BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
6. Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
7. Maintain and update Log books
8. Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
9. Pumps, motors
10. Compliance and logbooks
11. CAFM systems (elogs and Webquote used onsite)
12. Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
13. Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
14. Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
15. Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
16. Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
17. Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
18. Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements
1. A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
2. Multi-skilled
3. Good communication skills
4. Client Facing
5. In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
6. Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
7. Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
8. Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
