Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Financial Transaction Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a comprehensive understanding of financial management. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial transactions, ensuring cost control, and managing accounts payable and receivable processes. The Group Financial Transaction Manager will play a crucial role in financial planning and accounting, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the transaction team to ensure efficient processing of financial transactions.
2. Oversee financial management activities.
3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and review of monthly supplier reconciliations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning initiatives.
5. Work with audit teams to ensure smooth running of year-end audit and any other audits.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services sector.
2. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
3. Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes and financial accounting standards.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
5. Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
6. A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
