Oxford City Council is currently seeking a diligent and qualified professional Fire Risk Assessor to join our Fire Safety team, operating within the Property and Assets Directorate. * Being primarily responsible for providing and delivering 100% compliance for Fire Risk Assessments across the Oxford City Council corporate portfolio.
* Working as part of a team of Fire Risk Assessors, utilising an excellent knowledge of the FRA process to view fire risk holistically and ensure that risk is identified and communicated accurately.
* Being responsible for ensuring suitable and accurate remedial works are identified and communicated in assessments, and that they align with the timeframes recommended in the Oxford City Council FRA Process documents.
* Where required, being responsible for providing technical fire safety advice to colleagues across the organisation and being a point of contact for external organisations in relation to fire safety.
* Developing relationships and working closely with our contractors, customers and colleagues in collating and reporting information.
