Key Account Manager – Consumer Goods Wholesale Do you have a proven track record in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sales, with expertise in P&L modelling and repeat cycle processes with key strategic customers? If so, our Key Account Manager - Consumer Goods Wholesale role, working collaboratively with wholesale, discount, and convenience customers, could be the perfect opportunity for you. About the Role We are seeking an experienced account manager to join our dedicated and friendly commercial sales team, focusing on some of our most strategic wholesale, discount, and convenience accounts. You will work with major retailer brands such as Cushelle, Velvet, Plenty, Bodyform, and Tena, leveraging your cross-functional experience to drive growth. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has the potential to progress within the company. What You Will Do Build and maintain commercial relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service. Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and secure profitable business. Manage the P&L of your accounts, achieving sales and profitability targets. Proactively seek opportunities to grow sales while meeting company profit targets. Secure NPD listings with customers through compelling category-based sales presentations and agree on launch and support plans. Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales processes and account plans to meet/exceed sales targets. Frequently analyse customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities. Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs. Drive contract negotiations including terms and conditions, product offers, and pricing. Provide ongoing support to high-value clients by setting up and leading the key account team/managing internal resources. Re-evaluate customer prioritization annually and propose actions. Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities and distribute to internal stakeholders. Ensure accounts are settled in line with agreed terms. Accurately forecast predicted sales at the customer level and SKU group. Who You Are Proven commercial FMCG sales experience. Experience managing FMCG national distributor and wholesale accounts and financial budgets would be beneficial. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse sales data sets and insights. Resilient, proactive, and customer-focused, with the ability to develop strong business relationships internally and externally. Ability to prepare, present, and own business plans. Communicates with passion and a focus on deliverables. Potential to grow in the role and become a future leader. Full driving license.
