About you:
Nobody’s Child is looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join its brand team on a 6 month maternity cover contract. This is a brilliant opportunity to come on board with a high growth business at an exciting and transitional moment in its trajectory. The right candidate will be a creative marketeer, strategic thinker and quick self-starter that’s used to juggling multiple projects at once. You’ll also need a sharp eye for detail, particularly across copy.
Reporting into the Head of Brand, the role spans all day-to-day BAU communications as well as future planning, helping to define the marketing strategy before the season begins. It has two direct reports including a Copywriter and a Marketing Assistant.
Day to day responsibilities:
* Shape the seasonal marketing strategy with the Head of Brand, honing the identity of Nobody’s Child through compelling cross-channel content
* Capture the spirit of the brand through a passion for thumb-stopping storytelling and innovative ideas
* Know what good work looks like and execute it, working closely with channel owners to optimise at every touch point you come across
* Collaborate with the creative and production team on the development of campaign concepts
* Own the marketing calendar and weekly marketing meeting, ensuring everyone is clear on the vision, launch plans and changing needs of the business
* Know the product in detail, liaising with the buying and merchandising teams to ensure we’re talking about the right categories on the right channels at the right time
* Work closely with the sustainability team to constantly review, refine and amplify the brand’s responsibility credentials
* Develop a calendar of community-building events for retail stores, driving sales, loyalty and a sense of belonging
* Reach out and engage with brand partners for everything from collaborations to competitions
* Work with all major wholesale accounts to activate the brand, increase awareness and drive product sell-through
* Guard the brand’s tone of voice, continually pushing the narrative to ensure Nobody’s Child stands out from competitors
* Monitor all copywriting from product descriptions to email sends and social posts, editing for quality, consistency and accuracy
* Proof all marketing collateral ensuring everything that leaves the business is word perfect
* Keep on top of industry trends, coming up with tactics to further elevate the brand
* Support the team across the board, getting stuck into everything from social media to press releases as needed
* Attend all-agency meetings and brand events when required
To hit the ground running for this mat cover, you'll come with:
* A minimum of seven years at an online fashion brand or company that sits within a similar sector
* BA Degree in English Literature, Language, Journalism or equivalent
* Proven track record of managing a team
