Your Role
* Advise managers in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
* Lead the awareness of policies, procedures, and programs and their effect on employee engagement and retention
* Administer exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations and opportunities for improvement
* Serve as front line resource for responding to and solving employee concerns and providing coaching
* Partner with internal customers to improve the capability of the human resources department to respond to their needs
* Responsible for HR SharePoint and Intranet page
* Assist with Salary administration and performance management topics
* Prepare and maintain employee handbook, ensuring compliance and updating as needed.
* In collaboration with the HR Manager & line managers, assist with the recruitment and selection processes including updating position descriptions, preparing postings, screening resumes.
* Maintain knowledge of applicable legislation including employment standards and OH&S
* Support and promote corporate objectives and act as a resource to Management and associates.
* Serve as backup to HR Coordinator for HR related administrative duties such as payroll and systems maintenance
* Administers the company’s fleet vehicles including vehicle assignments, credit cards, maintenance, leasing and year end taxable benefit reporting.
* Address employees’ HR or Payroll related questions and inquiries in a timely manner.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Experience working within an ISO Certified company an asset.
* Knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations an asset.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Bilingualism in English & French is a requirement.
