Job Title: Production Operator
Site Location: Broughton, Flintshire
Responsible to: Production Manager
Responsible for: Multiple aspects of the production process

KEY INFORMATION
Reason for Vacancy: Increased demand
Contract: Temp to perm
Basic Pay: £12.03ph rising to £12.75ph post 12 weeks
Shifts: Monday to Friday 7.45am-12.45pm
Breaks: 30 min lunch (unpaid), early and late 10-minute break (x2 both paid)
Overtime: Mon-Sat 1.5x basic rate, Sunday x2 basic rate (all overtime is optional)
Holidays: Accrual (21 days + BH once permanent)
Facilities: Staff parking, canteen and very clean and professional environment

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Role: Our client is looking for Production Operators to join their busy team in Broughton, Flintshire on full time temporary to permanent contracts. As a Production Operator your responsibilities are as follows:
1. Operating machines loading/unloading parts and selecting the correct program
2. Checking parts have been processed according to customer specification / DSPP
3. Ensure machines are set up correct to specification and tolerance
4. Record tolerance using almen strips
5. Operate overhead cranes
6. Mask panels for peening
7. Manual shot blast peening operations
8. Safety & Housekeeping – checking equipment before use, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
9. Complete training as required

1. Good literacy skills and comfortable with using computers
2. Technical ability
3. A can-do attitude and real enthusiasm for solving problems and taking on new challenges
Shift Duration per Day: 8 hours, 5 hours on a Friday
