Role Description
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the UK & Ireland Festivals Finance team, reporting to the Reporting Manager. The main focus on the role will be assisting in the preparation of the business’ monthly reporting, monitoring and assisting the Reporting Manager in deliverables to management and monitoring the control environment.
As a Finance Assistant for Live Nation Festivals, you will gain invaluable opportunities to build on your existing finance/administration experience as you work closely with the Festival Reporting Manager & Finance Director as well as the wider finance function including, Accounts Payable, Banking and Operations teams.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a finance department, with a keen eye for detail, be forward thinking with a positive attitude to change and be looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
* Ideally currently studying/ planning to study ACCA or CIMA
* Experience working within a finance department.
* Strong organisational, numeracy and Excel skills, with experience of Oracle and BPC an advantage.
* Confident in your communication skills with good commercial awareness.
* Ideally currently studying/ planning to study ACCA or CIMA with strong accounting knowledge.

What the role includes
* Assisting with the reviewing of month end actuals, forecast submissions and cashflows across the festival division.
* Creation of weekly and monthly ticket count reports for internal use.
* Assisting with the review of monthly balance sheet packs, reconciliations and aging analysis.
* Liaising with finance teams across various legal entities covering the festival division to progress agreed action points.
* Involvement in monitoring and analysis of festival project reconciliations, reviews, and progress reports.
* Assisting and supporting the Reporting Manager to ensure relevant information is provided and deadlines are met.
* Supporting ad hoc project work including reconciliations, analysis and producing reports as required.
