You’ll play a key role in delivering communications to 12,000 employees in line with Arnold Clark’s strategic priorities and company culture. You’ll use your experience and expertise to effectively communicate across a range of channels, with the ability to turn technical or complicated language into something that engages and positively impacts our workforce. You’ll be responsible for liaising directly with senior stakeholders to understand objectives, set measurements for success and manage the delivery of internal campaigns and change projects. You will also help with the creation and execution of content planners for the Internal Communications team, ensuring our employees have the information needed to confidently perform in their roles. Day-to-day duties Work closely with stakeholders to deliver new initiatives to the business, ensuring our company values and culture are reflected throughout the execution of all communication plans. Work with our in-house Digital, Marketing and Film teams to create engaging assets as part of internal campaigns. Be data-driven when building communication strategies, working to a test and measure approach. You will act as an advocate for employees, ensuring employee impact is always considered and built into tailored communication plans from the very beginning. Determine the most appropriate channels to reach key audiences (for both digitally connected and non-connected work environments). Support the Internal Communications team with the production of business-wide and corporate-level communications to colleagues when necessary. Create, monitor and use colleague feedback loops to encourage open conversation around change. Essential skills and experience: Three years’ (minimum) experience in an Internal Communications team with specific experience in change communication. An in-depth understanding of digital employee communication platforms with experience in managing these platforms as a communications and engagement tool. Experience working in a large organisation, ideally with hard-to-reach, digitally disconnected employees. An analytical approach to communication with a focus on building and measuring end-to-end communication plans. A passion for employee engagement and internal communications. High level of organisation with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise accordingly. A genuine interest for new internal communication trends and keen to learn how to use new tools and techniques that will enhance your work. An influential communicator with excellent verbal and written skills. The ability to work as a team – this is essential, as you’ll be working as part of a 27-person Communications department alongside a 100-strong Marketing department to help create exceptional content for our stakeholders.
