Service Manager - Fire & Security
Bridgwater
V7 are looking for an experienced service manager with strong operation and people skills. This an exciting opportunity to manage subcontractors, liaise with clients, and grow and develop your own team of engineers. This role will give you the opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing fire and security companies in the South West.
Industry experience is preferred, however we would like to speak to anyone with a solid background in managing engineering teams.
Job Details
* Managing a team of 15-20 engineers, subcontractor and PAYE.
* Organizing job schedules
* Checking engineers productivity and performance reviews
* Helping support engineers with technical advice when necessary on security system panels.
* Conduct site inspections, surveys, audits etc
* Ensuring jobs are attended correctly by your team, monitoring engineers work.
* Holding engineer meetings, liaising with end clients.
* Involved in the recruitment/hiring process of on-boarding engineers
Benefits
* Salary ranging from £45,000-£55,000
* Company profit share scheme (can expect to earn anywhere between 5-15 days extra pay per year)

Requirements
* At least 3 years’ experience leading, growing and developing a field-based service team (Fire and Security experience would be a bonus, not a must have)
* Location: mostly office based, so within commutable distance of Bridgwater. Will be field-based with Technicians from time to time.
