My client is a Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants. As a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, they look after the accountancy, tax planning and business advisory needs of their clients (individuals, businesses and third sector organisations both in the UK and overseas).

Key responsibilities:
• Have a strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices to deliver an effective service to clients.• Prepare and review accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.• Deliver tax planning and prepare self-assessment tax returns for individuals.• Provide dividend/remuneration planning for company directors.• Have excellent client relationship skills and handle client queries in a positive and client-focused manner.• Provide strategic advice to clients on their accounts, taxation and accounting systems/processes.• Provide mentoring and leadership to colleagues within the accounting team and assist in their development.• Review VAT returns for the bookkeeping team.• Undertake any ad hoc work as required by the accounts team.
