As a Functional Skills Tutor
You’ll deliver intensive courses in English and Maths at L1/L2 which form a key component of Apprenticeship standards. You will be delivering to mixed groups of Soldiers at your base location Catterick, online, and at other military sites when required.

About the Job
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will act as a mentor and a guide to our learners, offering them information, advice, and guidance as needed. You will be responsible for teaching and assessing Functional Skills Maths and English and providing feedback on their progress alongside keeping their profiles and files up to date. This role is based in Wellington, with travel required to support Windsor, Woolwich, & Colchester.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
1. CET/Learning & Skills Mentor level 4 (or equivalent) or willing to work towards
2. Experience of assessment and delivery of training to learners
3. Lesson planning and preparation
4. Offering individual support and differentiation
