Nursery Practitioner - Level 2/3 TN9 - £11 + PER HOUR
We are curerntly looking for qualified Nursery Practitioner for a lovely Nursery in Tonbridge (TN9). We are a private day care nursery located in Tonbridge - a 7 minute walk from Tonbridge Station. The Nursery is situated in a beautiful converted house with spacious grounds and is conveniently located for both local residents and commuters to London. We are open full-time from 7:30am - 6:30pm, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.
Working 4 days a week one day of - 41 over 4 days.
Your main tasks and duties will include
Protect and promote the health and well-being of children Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed
Promote positive relationships in the early years setting
Support children's learning and development through play
Be a 'key person' to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families
Monitor children's progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
Plan and create activities which keep children engaged throughout the day
Enable children to become more independent
Help prepare children for the transition into school life

Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Full and relevant Early Years qualification Level 3 or above
12. Minimum 1 years' post qualification
13. Awareness and working knowledge of the EYFS
14. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
15. Understanding of the Ofsted inspection framework
16. Experience of working within a team in a similar role
17. Knowledge of health and safety requirements
This is a full time position. Salary is based on experience, qualifications, and the suitability of the successful candidate.
