We are excited to offer a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated clinical pharmacist to join the Woman's and Children's Pharmacy at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
The successful candidate will be a member of our clinical pharmacy team providing Pharmaceutical care to patients under the PICU service and be part of the PICU multidisciplinary team, based within Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The post holder will also have responsibility to the clinical pharmacy services offered to our paediatric cardiology department.
The Woman and Children's Pharmacy team spans across two adjacently located hospital sites providing care to woman, children and neonates. You will be working as part of a well supported team of clinical pharmacists driving the development of clinical and operational services to your patient group.
• Providing a clinical pharmacy service to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
• Providing leadership and training to clinical pharmacists working within paediatric surgery wards and working closely with the surgical team on improvement, training and governance.
• Working alongside the multidisciplinary team including nursing staff, doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent inpatient care.
• Supporting and training junior staff as they develop their knowledge and skills.
