Job summary Thames Valley Cancer Alliance (TVCA) is a partnership that brings together leaders from different hospital trusts, GPs and primary care, health and social organisations, covering a population of nearly 1.8 million people. Our aim is to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients in our local area. We are seeking to recruit a Cancer Performance & Analytical Lead to join our innovative and dynamic team. The post holder will work closely with and support the Head of Service Improvement within the Service Improvement, Operational Performance and Analytics portfolios to ensure the TVCA deliver improvements to cancer pathways and performance across our footprint. Main duties of the job The post holder will lead the oversight of performance, supporting the Head of Service Improvement (HoSI) in delivering operational performance improvements across the Thames Valley Cancer Alliance, alongside effective and high quality data intelligence to drive the service improvements required. The successful candidates will: Provide support to the Head of Service Improvement (HoSI) by overseeing Cancer Performance across TVCA. Work with the HoSI and key stakeholders to develop comprehensive improvement plans to support improved cancer performance, with a focus on the 28-day Faster Diagnosis Standard (FDS) and 62-day referral to treatment standards. Producing cancer performance briefings and board papers to influence the service improvement agenda led by the HoSI. Supporting the HoSI with the development and implementation of the TVCA Pan Alliance Cancer. Access Policy and Inter-Trust Transfer (ITT) Policy. Ensure there is also an ITT policy in place with other tertiary providers as required.
