Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Senior Regulatory Business Analyst to join us within our Asset Management business, specifically within our business change & Consulting division. This new role will require previous in-depth experience working within Regulatory area, more specifically ESG within the Asset Management industry, and capable of overseeing and driving large programs from feasibility analysis to inception and through to delivery.
What you'll be doing:
* Identifying and managing the 'big picture' associated with ESG & other Regulatory changes and proactively work with stakeholders to optimise, enable and drive workstream delivery.
* Acting as an expert counsel and consultant and being able to bring structure to vision and ideas and able to conduct feasibility to give shape to business cases.
* Leading a team of Business Analysts to provide direction, guidance, support and manage escalations and prioritisation pro-actively and in some cases manage the outcomes of escalations from others.
* Working with the Architecture team to identify innovative, effective and scalable approaches to tackle changes.
* Reviewing business processes of in-scope regulations against the business' strategic operating model and identifying affected business processes.
* Reviewing data flows, applying data management concepts and performing extensive data analysis where required.
* Capturing and documenting the as-is and to-be operating models, incorporating processes, organisation, technology and information themes, using a variety of business analysis techniques.
* Deriving and defining high level business requirements, mapping out appropriate Epics and User Stories to support delivery. Look for re-use opportunities and identify appropriate value streams.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Extensive experience working on ESG programmes within Business Change in an Investment Management organisation is highly desirable.
* Extensive experience designing strategic operating models within ESG Regulations & ESG Data is highly desirable.
* Extensive experience working on Regulatory programmes in an Investment Management organisation is highly desirable.
* Extensive experience performing feasibility activities and creating structured business cases.
* Previous experience leading a team of Business Analysts is highly desirable.
* Evidence of a structured approach to analysis and documentation, using recognised tools and techniques.
* Experience of requirements elicitation and design and target operating model definition.
* Experience of Agile/iterative delivery and contribution to/creation of business cases.
