We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Client, a manufacturing company in north Manchester, in an office based engineering role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Carry out site surveys
* Manage project risk
* Monitor budgets and operate within them
* Plan resources
* Oversee the process from order to handover
* Assist with the creation of quotations
* Ensure quality standards are met in line with company policy
* Provide leadership in line with the company’s values
* Prepare meetings and presentations to deliver forecasts, updates and progress reports, issue minutes and actions required
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
What We’re Looking For:
* Organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills – client facing and internal colleagues
* Microsoft Word and Excel competence
* Attention to detail
* Commercial awareness
* MV Switchgear experience (2 years)
* Willing to travel nationwide at short notice to support projects as required
* Driving license – essential
* Electrical engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent) – desirable
* Manufacturing experience – desirable
