Come join our Team! Following the award of additional funding, Sport Aberdeen are looking to grow our community cycling team and programme.
In the role of Project Activator (Cycling), your main purpose is to develop and grow community cycling through the following;-
• Develop relationships with the local cycling community; maintaining, developing and co-ordinating stakeholders and communities across Aberdeen City.
• Plan, co-ordinate and co-deliver a strategic place-based approach to cycling delivery across Aberdeen City; ensuring a particular focus on children and young people in priority neighbourhoods.
• Tackle inequalities through the programming and delivery of community programmes within SIMD areas of Aberdeen City; ensuring the delivery of an integrated pathway of cycling opportunities for the city.
• Support and collaborate with the Rock Up and Ride programme of activity.
• Monitor and report on the performance of partnership activation and behaviour change interventions.
• Market and promote cycling opportunities across Aberdeen City.
• Support, and build capacity, in the volunteer network of coaches and rider leaders.
