We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a Special School in Romford. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, making it ideal for teachers who are committed to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This position is initially on a contract/temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student, creating an environment that fosters both academic and personal growth. Supported by a team of passionate educators, you will play a crucial role in helping students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
* Work closely with support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
* Foster students' social, emotional, and academic development.
* Build strong relationships with students, parents, and external professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with SEND students is preferred but not essential.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
