Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a Store Manager to support its retail operations and contribute to driving the commercial success of the department. As a Store Manager, you will demonstrate strong leadership and adaptability, managing teams of different sizes, including up to 15 staff members during peak times, such as busy match days. You will be responsible for driving sales, upholding the highest standards of customer service, and always ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store. Main Responsibilities Overseeing all aspects of daily store operations. Scheduling shifts and managing employee performance. Motivating and leading the team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. Ensuring customers receive high-quality service and efficiently handle any complaints. Ensuring the store is clean, well-organised and welcoming for customers. Monitoring stock levels, ensuring products are well-stocked and correctly displayed. Maintaining a safe environment for both customers and employees. Key Skills and Experience Experience in team management. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised. Ability to effectively multi-task. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Capacity to stay positive and composed in challenging situations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. Skilled in training and developing staff, while fostering a collaborative and positive team culture. The ideal candidate will be available to work in alignment with store opening hours which currently operate Tuesday to Saturday. Flexibility will be required to cover matchday fixtures outside of the standard operating days and times, as well as extended trading around peak sales periods such as kit launches and Christmas. The position will be offered on a full-time permanent basis. All relevant training will be provided.
