We are currently seeking an ICP Estimator to join our expanding Estimating team. You will be part of a supportive environment, working alongside other estimators, Project Managers, and Pre-Contract Construction Managers. In this role, you will handle tenders for LV ICP, 11KV, 33KV, Residential, I&C, and Highrise Projects, focusing on successfully pricing and securing new contracts for the business.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Share key knowledge with other estimators within the department.
* Understand tender documentation, including timescales, submission documents, contract information, project scope, and site & works information.
* Identify project risks.
* Assist the Estimating Manager in preparing kick-off meetings and bid programs.
* Collaborate with procurement and commercial departments to prepare supply chain request for quotation information packs.
* Ensure the project solution is understood during the tender phase and challenge it where necessary.
* Prepare for and chair meetings to identify project risks and discuss required project management levels with internal stakeholders.
* Analyse supply chain quotations, benchmark project costs, and test proposed productivity rates.
* Prepare the tender price in Microsoft Excel using supply chain quotations and apply internal plant and people rates to work programs/activity schedules.
* Prepare for and chair tender price review meetings with senior management and other internal stakeholders.
* Prepare client pricing documents for submission, including required risk/contractual information.
* Assist in preparing and delivering post-submission presentations to the client and/or attend negotiation meetings.
* Save, document, and organize important tender pricing communications/information as per the tender folder structure.
* Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Prepare and chair pricing handover meetings on successful bids.
* Identify, communicate, and implement ideas for continual improvement within the tender process.
* Work within company policies and procedures.
* Perform any other duties as necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and client requirements.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an infrastructure estimating role (essential).
* Mathematical competence.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Competence in other standard Microsoft software.
* Confidence in written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders, including senior roles.
* Basic understanding of engineering/construction technology and terminology.
* Ability to read and understand engineering specifications and drawings.
* Basic understanding of contractual terminology.
* Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Flexibility in working hours.
