Centralised Recruitment: Corporate Finance Opportunity
We have adopted a centralised hiring process for administration roles in bands 2-3 and 4-5. This means you apply once and are considered for multiple positions within our organisation, saving time for both candidates and managers while accessing a broader talent pool.

The role of Management Accountant - Corporate will see you take a lead in producing, checking, and distributing financial management reports and ad hoc reporting to budget holders to agreed reporting timescales. The successful candidate will ensure expenditure is accurately recorded within the general ledger, which requires transaction analysis and liaison with financial services, payroll, and HR colleagues to investigate payments made to staff and suppliers.

Example duties and responsibilities:
* Respond to email queries from stakeholders in a timely manner.
* The post holder will promote and maintain professional and effective liaison within the Finance Directorate and across the organisation to ensure the success of the Trust.
* The role requires extensive liaison with staff at all levels across the Trust and regular liaison with budget holders through various means of communication including email, telephone, teams video, and face-to-face meetings, to provide expert financial advice.
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
* The post holder plans and manages their work to deliver agreed objectives to deadlines.
* The post holder will ensure that monthly reporting deadlines are met in line with internal timetables.

Person Specification
Experience and Skills
* MS Office and applications (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Previous experience within the NHS/public sector.
* Experience of a range of accounting duties or degree incorporating finance modules or by AAT/CCAB qualification.
Qualifications
* Studying a professional accountancy qualification. CIMA, ACCA, AAT, CIPFA with evidence of passes at the minimum of the foundation levels, or a degree incorporating finance modules. Alternatively, have relevant experience from within a financial environment.
Interpersonal / Communication Skills
* Makes a positive contribution to effective multi-disciplinary team working.
* Excellent customer care and communication.
* Ability to adapt communication style as required.
