Nurture Teacher

What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with young people in SEMH settings or similar educational contexts.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience, with the ability to handle challenges in a calm and supportive way.
* A commitment to individualised learning and the ability to tailor teaching strategies to meet the needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a personalised curriculum that addresses both the academic and emotional needs of students with SEMH.
* Foster a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where students can build trust and feel confident in their learning.
* Use a range of behaviour management techniques to promote positive behaviour, self-discipline, and emotional regulation.
* Monitor and track the progress of students, adjusting teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs.
* Support individual learning plans (IEPs) and work closely with support staff to ensure the holistic development of each student.
* Encourage emotional growth through therapeutic strategies and encourage positive relationships among students.
