MOBILE MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT GATESHEAD What you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management Business. Ideally, you will based in or around Gateshead area for this role. • Attend and carry out planned and reactive tasks across the contract estate of 12 schools • Attend all jobs issued which may occasionally include non-electrical tasks such basic plumbing repairs and fabric works for which you have the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake • Undertake all tasks as directed by the Management team and Helpdesk. All work must be in accordance with GTFM, client and site policies and contract procedures. • You must be able to use a portable electronic device (Phone/ Tablet) to receive and update all tasks in a timely manner and with contract SLA’s. • As well as working core hours you will be required to be part of an On Call rota. • As this is a mobile role a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided and must be used for traveling whilst on GTFM business. • Task instructions and Risk Assessment control measures which relate to the tasks in hand need to be adhered to. • All work must be done to current legislative standards and best industry standard. • The operative will be required to act in a courteous and respectful manor when working for Galliford Try. • Attend Tool-Box-Talks, training and meetings as directed by management About You: • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures, and the Environment) 501/2232/0 • Electrical Wiring Regulations 2017 Amendment 3 • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 603/3319/4 EAL • Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations 600/4337/4 EAL • Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations 600/4338/6 EAL • Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 (June 2008, 2015) 601/5321/0 • 18th Edition City and Guilds • FM experience in an educational or healthcare setting is desirable • You must have a clean driving license to be considered for this role • Excellent Customer Service skills • Good Written/verbal communication Skills • Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements and willing to accept change What We Can Offer in Return: With an impressive order book of over £3.2 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
