Your Role: Make a Difference Every Day As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs to access the curriculum. You will play a key role in ensuring a nurturing and structured learning environment where all children feel supported. Key Responsibilities: Your Daily Impact Support students with learning, social, and emotional development in the classroom. Assist teachers in delivering engaging and adapted lessons for children with SEN. Work closely with SENCOs and other staff to create inclusive learning plans. Help students develop essential communication and social skills. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement. Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to staff and parents. Who We’re Looking For: Is This You? Experience working with children with SEN, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties. A patient, understanding, and supportive approach to learning support. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or psychology (desirable but not essential). A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
