We have a new opportunity in our Race Support Team. This position will be within our factory based in Enstone.
Assembly Technician - The Role
Reporting to the Race Support Team Manager, this role will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and test of complex assemblies to support RST activities. Key accountabilities include:
* Assembly/disassembly of all forms of Alpine F1 cars to a very high standard, in line with company procedures and practices.
* Working closely with the factory departments to plan RST workloads into day to day schedules.
* Responsible for accurate recording of build sheets, identifying potential faults during build stages.
* Work within company and department standards to be able to continuously improve them.
* Work closely with design & engineering department to continuously improve assembly and test procedures and create a collaborative working relationship.
* Reflect ownership in any activity by ensuring all work is carried to the highest standards, ensuring correct use and maintenance of the equipment and prompt escalation of any issues out of their control.
* Responsible for maintaining the workshops, keep equipment clean, organised and in safe condition to work.
* Responsible for complying with Quality and Health and Safety guidelines at all times and highlight any situation that could put these at risk.
While a factory based role, the person must be open to travelling to support the RST if ever required.
Assembly Technician – The Person
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the assembly and servicing of complex assemblies, which include suspension, uprights, pedals, water, fuel and brake systems.
They will be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and be self-motivated, organised, working to a high standard, understanding procedures, consistently demonstrating a high level of technical competence and sound communication skills. We are looking for an individual who will be flexible in their approach and possess a keen eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision to deliver performant solutions to tight deadlines.
