We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Legal Secretary to join our Family department, to be based at our Shrewsbury office. Day to day you will be expected to support the department with secretarial and administrative work such as opening/closing files, on-boarding clients, liaising between clients and other third parties and audiotyping.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Dealing with clients from the outset, liaising between the client, fee earner and other third parties.
2. Opening and closing files on the case management system (ALB), including archiving.
3. On-boarding clients and organising appointments, both face to face or by telephone, and managing the fee earners calendar.
4. Audiotyping and drafting correspondence, documents, forms and attendance notes using the case management system (ALB).
5. Ensuring each client matter is up to date in line with PCB’s compliance standards.
6. Providing excellent client care in line with PCB Solicitors standards.
7. Building strong client relationships with new and existing clients.
8. Maintaining a high level of organisation with precise attention to detail.
9. Experience with MS Office applications preferable.
10. Experience using case management and legal systems.
11. Able to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times.
12. Proven internal and external communication skills.
13. Maintaining your continuing professional development requirements and staying up to date on relevant changes in Family law.
14. Working in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm.
15. Being proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with others.
16. Having a positive approach to tasks and a strong work ethic.
Experience:
Previous experience working in a Legal Support role is required; experience working in Family Law is an advantage.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
Place of Work:
Shrewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Salary: £21,000.00 to £22,400.00 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
